A Play Therapist who always has a great resource, is educating your agency about the powers of play, and always has a creative approach? Maybe you know someone who excels at meeting children where they are at and holds space for healing with the powers of play! Or someone who always has sand on his or her floor, has the best ideas for new toys or miniatures, and is constantly recommending you read a new book or blog?
Well... if you know a Registered Play Therapist or a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor - you have someone to nominate! Let's lift up and celebrate our Minnesota Play Therapy Community!
The MNAPT Board will be accepting nominations for the next Shining Star recipient, to be presented at the 2026 MNAPT Conference starting in the winter of 2025. Nominees must currently be an RPT and/or RPT-S and show excellence in the Minnesota Play Therapy Community. The MNAPT Board will compile the nominations to make the final decision.
