Do I need to be a Registered Play Therapist to join the Association for Play Therapy? Anyone who is a therapist and using the powers of Play Therapy with children can become a member of the Association for Play Therapy at any time!
What if I'm a student? Can I still become a member of APT? Yes! The Association for Play Therapy has special student rates for membership!
Should I join the National Association for Play Therapy or the Minnesota Branch? All Association for Play Therapy membership goes through the national branch. When you are registering for membership you will select Minnesota as your sate.

Minnesota’s Annual Spring Conference This yearly event features a nationally recognized play therapy presenter that cater to the needs and wants of our members. This event is designed to foster a playful and professional atmosphere for Play Therapists to network, share resources, and rejuvenate our energy for treating children in our community.
Networking Events These evening or weekend events provide members with an opportunity to meet with and connect with fellow play therapists in their community. Food and drink is provided and members are encouraged to bring business cards to share.
APT Annual International Conference In different locations every year, the International Conference provides continuing education about Play Therapy and related topics. Approved by most professional disciplines. Features prominent authors, researchers, and practitioners. Includes networking forums and extracurricular visitor activities. Registration fees are reduced for members.
